My Summer Reading List

Since I live short walk away from the church and no longer have a commute to work, I've really slacked off on my reading. I used to read a book a week... now I'm lucky to get a book a month finished.

This summer I want to REALLY get caught up on my reading. I have a pile of books on my desk that I'm hoping to dwindle down as much as possible over the next few months.

• Everybody's Normal Till You Get to Know Them by John Ortberg
• Grace Based Parenting by Tim Kimmel
• The Emotionally Healthy Church by Peter Scazzero
• Permission Evangelism by Michael L. Simpson
• A Passionate Life by Mike Breen and Walt Kallestad
• The Search to Belong by Joseph R. Myers
• The Church of Irresistible Influence by Robert Lewis
• The Seven Deadly Sins of Small Group Ministry by Bill Donahue

Looking over this list I see that it's very ministry heavy... I'm going to have to take a few of these books out and be sure to add some "just for fun" reading, like maybe one of the Star Wars novels... I haven't read one of those in years!
